Objective Statment

“You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.”
Woodrow Wilson

At “Ask Dr. Jones” Educational Strategic Navigation Services (ESNS), our ultimate goal is to "to guide students successfully through various Educational terrains, challenges, and channels, into the institution of Higher Education, that best suits their academic strengths & personal goals." Hence, our objective, as educational counselors/life coaches/mentors, is to aid in the collective, on-going process of the assessment, identification, development, nurturing, maintenance, and promotion of all aspects that affect our clients’ lives: the intellectual, scholastic, emotional, psycho-social, and ethical. Through the utilization of various techniques and strategies, Ask Dr. Jones ESNS will produce exceedingly content, diverse, creative, socially responsible and responsive intellects: who possess good souls, and a premium level of work ethic. Ultimately, we want to be the counselor, confidant, and mentor that most students need, but never experience.

To optimize the potential for success, "Ask Dr. Jones” ESNS Services strives to operate through a comprehensive educational counseling program, which elevates each and every student, using a holistic approach. We address students’ unique academic, emotional, and social needs by actively participating in the mission of molding diverse, sharp, and competent minds, as we assist students with the discovery and activation of their personal power. We strive to encourage students to cut through their commonly held, self-imposed and supported, crippling labels, excuses, and barriers, in an attempt to realize their true, more competent, efficient, and happier selves. Equally important, our desire is to help teenagers and young adults discover their unique selves, abilities, and true potential for “living” a more fulfilled, balanced, and successful life.
